The folded edge design is pretty much the industry standard. The canvas is stretched out and wrapped around the edges of the wooden frame for a perfect, clean-cut composition. Try to ensure no essential elements of your photo are near the margins, as they may not be properly visible on the final print!
A simple yet beautiful effect which sees the outer edge of your image copied, inverted and then printed on the sides of the frame, creating an appealing extension of the artwork.
Similar to a motion blur effect, the stretched edge effect sees the very edge of your photo artificially distorted to create a striking artistic effect. The outermost pixels of your image are stretched lengthwise along the frame sides.
The white edge effect goes with the “less is more” approach to enhancing your image. The photo is printed in full on the front of the frame, while the edges feature a solid white strip which accentuates your image.
As with the white edge effect, your image appears fully intact on the front, while the edges of the frame are printed with a bold strip of black, bringing a nice pop of contrast to the overall composition!
Your canvas photo print will be stretched over a high-quality spruce wood stretcher frame. To assemble each canvas frame we use specially processed, 2cm-thick stretcher bars. Though designed for maximum durability, the frame is wonderfully lightweight and won’t need more than a couple of nails to put up.
